Hiring: Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define project scope and manage proposals to ensure alignment with client expectations.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
3. Lead the structural design team in developing innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
4. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality by effectively communicating with stakeholders and team members.
5. Prepare NEC3/NEC4 contract documents to facilitate smooth project execution.
6. Design and analyze concrete and steel structures using industry-standard software and tools.
7. Update and review design drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
8. Inspect and assess structural components in industrial plants to identify potential issues.
9. Provide technical support during construction to address any queries or concerns.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level position that requires a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in concrete and steel structure design, with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/BSc/BTech) or similar. Professional registration with ECSA is also essential.

Requirements:

• 8 years' experience in concrete and steel structure design.
• Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/BSc/BTech) or similar.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA.
• Skilled in Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, Prokon, and Revit.
• Valid driver's license.

Estimated Salary: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
