    Description

    DevOps Engineer needed for a top retail group's on-demand delivery and Digi tech shop in SA, with expertise in deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations.

    As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with a top team of developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.

    You will be working with the latest tech platforms, such as mobile apps, logistics software, and real-time tracking systems.

    This is a permanent position based in Cape Town, offering a cost-to-company salary of up to R1.08m per annum.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deploy product updates, identify production issues, and implement integrations that meet customer needs.
    • Work with a top team of developers and engineers to ensure software development follows established processes and works as intended.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, set up, and optimize development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
    • Monitor and measure specific performance metrics to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer and 5 years in a similar technical role.
    • Proficient in Development, Testing, and Automation Tools.
    • Skilled in GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker.
    • Understanding of IT Infrastructure (Azure or AWS).
    • Process Management Skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Technical knowledge in C#.NET stack is a plus.

    Qualifications:

    • Tertiary IT qualification.
    • Certified Azure Developer certification is preferred.
    • Certified Microsoft DevOps certification.
