CONTRACT ROLE

Responsibilities:

Design and develop data models to support business reporting, analytics, and data visualization requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Analyze existing data structures, data sources, and business processes to identify opportunities for data model optimization and improvement.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation to ensure data integrity and governance.
Implement best practices and standards for data modeling, database design, and data management across the organization.
Work closely with database administrators, data engineers, and developers to ensure seamless integration and implementation of data models.
Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality assessments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior data modelers and analysts, including mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data modeling, database design, and data management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data management.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts, dimensional modeling principles, and data warehousing architectures.
Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent.
Handson experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Experience with cloudbased data platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver highquality results in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
