The successful applicant will:
- Obtain and process data to enable the measurement and monitoring of media and outreach strategies in support of PwC's global priority and reputational campaigns.
- Set up searches, export and make use of data to respond to real-time reporting needs using the platform supplied by PwC's external media monitor vendor.
- Provide end-to-end quantitative analysis including metrics design, model development, data analysis, and dashboard building.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, including reports on PwC's share of voice when compared to the media activities of direct competitors.
- Create and manage dashboard/scorecards/reports/presentations that communicate status, evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, and include recommendations for action.
- Validate data and quality assure work and reports that are currently outsourced to the IAC.
- Identify ways to streamline data collection efforts and processes across different functions.
- Identify and make suggestions for improvement, including the design and use of data visualisation tools.
- Provide support and capacity to the Research & Insights Manager to aid the production of ad-hoc reporting requirements within the team.
Education and Skills Requirements: - A relevant tertiary qualification, with a background in statistics and data analysis.
- Ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using data transformation and visualisation tools (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated passion for technology and taking personal responsibility to stay on top of new developments.
- Experience of media monitoring and analysis including social and traditional media.
- Communicate with clarity in both written and verbal formats, to make recommendations and inform future decision making.
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including rapid turnaround and more strategic projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset and experience with internal stakeholder management.
