The finance business partner will be embedded within the different entities to create active partnerships that provide real-time support and analysis He /She will responsible for all accounting-related activities, including managerial accounting, preparation of financial statements, and other finance activities within the group.
This is a position working at both the strategic and detailed level within the group and will oversee, support and/or directly perform, when necessary, the controlling, payroll and tax compliance.
KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the group's financial strategy and opportunity forecasting.
- Highlevel financial reporting and analysis.
- Understand the creditors, debtors, general ledger, and payroll functions with an ability to obtain a detailed understanding / ability to make process/ procedure recommendations through interactions with the various teams
- Exceptional client service is required, whilst simultaneously upholding and maintaining appropriate corporate governance standards and principles.
- Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Execute on financial and operational projects as required from time to time meeting relevant quality standards and deadlines.
- Support monthend and yearend close process
- Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting
- Produce financial statements as expected
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Manage and comply with all the statutory reporting requirements and tax filing
- Develop and adhere to policies and procedures that guides operational excellence and controls internally
- Regular budget consolidation and participating in budgeting processes.
- Management and reporting of Intercompany loans and relevant agreements
- Assist with VAT, Income Tax and Companies Act rules and implementation.
