Tramper Technology SAdesigns and builds innovative and efficient packaging machinery with the support of our Dutch parent company, Tramper Techniek Bv.

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible junior electrician to join our team in Somerset West, Western Cape.

If you are passionate about using electronics to bring industrial packaging machinery to life, then this position is for you


At Tramper Technology SA, you will be exposed to:

  • The full machine-building process of Tramper Technology's machines
  • Cuttingedge industrial electronics and packaging automation
  • Top brands like Beckhoff, Lenze & Siemens

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Technology in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or
  • National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Other requirements:


  • Ability to read & interpret electrical schematics
  • Driver's license & own transport
  • Professional competency in English

Preferred additional skills/experience:


  • Wiring of industrial control panels
  • Basic understanding of PLC's & control systems
  • Basic proficiency in Afrikaans

Offer:


  • Starting Q4 202 40 hours per week (fulltime)
  • 15 days annual leave
  • Negotiable salary

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Somerset West,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Language:


  • English and Afrikaans (preferred)
