Our client in the heavy manufacturing industry is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team in the Western Cape


As a key member of our management team, the Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success and reliability of our manufacturing operations.

Applicants with the following experience and attributes are invited to submit their CV: 5+ years' experience in a maintenance management role in a steel or heavy engineering environment; strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques; excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of artisans;

strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization; a strong focus on safety and a commitment to ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.


Responsibilities will include overseeing a team of artisans and ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards; developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production processes; managing the repair and replacement of equipment; ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies; and providing leadership and guidance to the maintenance team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve common goals.
