    Job Title: Sales Manager - Used Vehicles

    A high-performing sales manager is required to lead our used vehicle sales team in Polokwane.

    • Sourcing and buying stock to ensure optimal inventory levels, meeting sales requirements.
    • Maximizing sales revenue and profitability by delivering exceptional customer service and retention.
    • Developing a sales organization structure to achieve sales and profit objectives.
    • Implementing cost control measures within the department to stay within budget.
    • Maintaining adequate product display materials for effective sales presentation.
    • Reviewing pricing policies, discounts, and trade-in deals to maintain dealership profitability.
    • Monitoring weekly financial performance of the sales department.
    • Ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer complaints.
    • Delivering vehicles that meet OEM quality and safety standards.
    • Meeting customer satisfaction and expectation targets.
    • Controlling direct and indirect costs within company parameters.
    • Providing new model launch training to sales executives.
    • Determining staffing levels and required training to achieve sales objectives.
    • Monitoring floorplan activities and maintaining optimal stock levels within company policy requirements.
    • Maximizing sales of back-end products.

    Experience and Knowledge Required:

    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in vehicle sales within the motor industry, with a strong background in used car sales.
    • A proven track record of accurate vehicle valuations and adjusting pricing to meet market demands.
    • Prior experience in sales management, leading and motivating a sales team to achieve objectives.
    • A successful history of sales performance and a solid understanding of sales processes and systems.
    • Proven ability to source and buy stock, evaluate vehicles, and manage sales compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
    • A relevant tertiary qualification (NQF6+) in sales, marketing, or business management.

    Other Requirements:

    • A valid, unendorsed driver's license and ability to drive competently and legally.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and dealer lead management systems.
    • Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures.
    • Understanding of the competitive motor industry.
