Operations Manager specialising in

Work-at-Heights to join our client's team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities related to work-at-height projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and successful execution of projects while adhering to industry regulations and company standards.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric (Minimum)
  • Postmatric qualification in safety or related
  • 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • 5 Years' management of staff
  • Speak, Read & Write English
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities:


  • Achievement of budgets/Targets
  • Sales/GM/Stock
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with all reporting staff
  • Monitor and control expenses and costs
  • Carry out regular field visits
  • Oversee and scheduling of technicians on site
  • Oversee, lead, and log onsite measurements
  • Ensure that all staff have the correct tools for their responsibilities
  • Ensure regular training is carried out for staff (Site Safety/Sales/Admin)
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and key accounts
  • Ensure administrative procedures are followed
  • Work in conjunction with Marketing/Product Management/Finance/Debtors/Creditors to achieve success
  • Assist in the development of the Training Academy
  • Participate in SABS and relative committees to promote standards and acceptance of new products where required
  • Keep ahead of market and customer requirements for all products marketed
