Description

This is a full-time position in the Learning and Development Department. There will be a 3-month probation period.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

BA(Ed), BSc or BCom.
Minimum 3 years' experience in teaching/tutoring.
Facilitator/Assessor qualifications (advantageous).

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Independent team player.
Attention to detail.
Ability to train junior to senior and management level staff.
Strong command of English in communication.
No criminal record or bad credit history (required for working with potentially sensitive data in the Financial Services domain).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tutoring individual and small group weekly classes for adult learners on Zoom.
Facilitation of customised mathematics syllabus which covers arithmetic, algebra, data science, financial maths and geometry from grade 9 to 1st year university levels.
Content development on the customised syllabus.
Administrative duties including maintenance of registers, database records, reporting.
Participation in weekly focus groups.
Participation in weekly departmental mentoring with Senior Manager.

Salary:
R26 000,00 - R28 000,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
