We are looking for a qualified Insurance Customer Care Team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. The Insurance Customer Care Team Leader will be responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating team members daily. Be proactive to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Set clear team goals.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Oversee daytoday operation.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Encourage creativity and risktaking.
  • Suggest and organize team building activities.

Requirements and skills

  • Matric
  • 3 years' proven experience in a managerial role.
  • 5 years' experience in an insurance industry.
  • RE5 is a must.
  • Must be technologically savvy.
  • Financial experience will be advantageous.
  • Certificate in supervisory management, ideal but not essential.
  • Indepth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations and take ownership.
  • Must come from an insurance industry as a client care Manager/Team Leader.
