    Description

    **Project Manager - Automotive Industry**

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee projects within the automotive industry.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Customer Contract Management: Establish key customer contracts and ensure timely execution.
    • Project Coordination: Co-ordinate project timing plans, monitor performance, and ensure targets are met.
    • Urgent Request Handling: Effectively manage urgent requests from customers.
    • Site Safety Compliance: Maintain site safety compliance in accordance with current legislation.
    • Scope Understanding: Ensure complete understanding of supply scope and company obligations prior to commencement.
    • Customer/Materials Process Sign Off: Obtain sign off from customers and materials process.
    • Risk Management: Identify, report, and manage project risks promptly.
    • Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by immediate Manager/Director.
    • Contract Control: Manage budgets, cost-to-complete estimates, and schedule tracking.
    • Team Collaboration: Participate in and contribute to monthly Technical Operations Department meetings.

    **Requirements:**

    • National Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
    • High degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft PC applications (Office, Projects, PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
    • Proven ability to work independently and proactively.
    • Planning ability to manage, implement, validate, and produce timing plans for project work.
    • Effective communication skills at all levels.
    • Ability to work as an individual and part of a team.
    • Understanding of customer requirements and specifications.
    • Experience within the Automotive Industry is advantageous.
