Duration:
Permanent (21 days on7 days off work cycle)
A private Game Reserve in Tzaneen is looking for a Head Guide to join their Team. If successful, you will be working for one of the best natural Game Reserves in the world.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid RSA Driver's License and PDP
First Aid
FGASA Level - Field Guide
Trails Guide
Firearm competency Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5 star lodge necessary
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Big 5 reserve
Experience in wildlife photography will be an advantage
Mature and responsible
Well spoken, well-groomed and presentable
Strong leadership capabilities
Positive attitude and approach toward team work
Hands on approach towards the guest experience
Ability take initiative and problem solve
Excellent guest interaction skills
Passionate and pro-active towards personal growth and training
Sober Habits, NO DRUGS

Duties and Responsibilities:

Meticulous in all aspects of Managing the Guiding Department
Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff in the Guiding Department
Staff training and development
Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
All administrative duties pertaining to the Guiding Department
Overseeing and Management of the Portfolio's Fleet
Allocation of rangers and trackers to daily game drives
Daily Game Drives & Bush walks
Hosting Duties
Allocation of Airport Transfers Guest Activity and Airport Transfers - Little paws program
Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
Photographic safaris
Reporting to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office
