We are looking for a seasoned Reporting Analyst with expertise in the Financial Sector, including a thorough grasp of the transformation goals outlined in the 2017 Financial Sector Code.

The key role is to analyze, design, create, and maintain reports and dashboards that offer valuable insights for internal stakeholders.

This involves handling extensive data from different sectors within the financial services industry, including Banks, Life Offices, Short-term, Asset Managers, Other institutions, Specialized Enterprises, and Retirement Funds.

• Manage inquiries and submissions from a variety of stakeholders, including financial institutions, government agencies, and industry associations. This includes providing timely and accurate responses while maintaining compliance with established protocols.
• Aid in crafting essential organizational documents, including Terms of References, internal policies, tender documents, and work plans. With keen attention to detail and strong written communication skills, they ensure the development of clear, comprehensive documents that meet organizational standards.
• Play an essential role in for developing and implementing the State of Transformation Annual Report Plan, which is crucial for evaluating financial institutions' progress in complying with relevant legislation. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient collection and processing of information.
• Utilize analytical skills and data visualization tools to ensure that key insights are understandable to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient meeting of project deliverables and deadlines.
• The Reporting Analyst will consolidate reports, proposals, and presentations, integrating findings from data collection, analysis, and visualization, in alignment with the Code's reporting requirements.
• Support other miscellaneous tasks assigned by their line manager to contribute to the organization's overall success.

• A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is required.
• Having a certificate in the B-BBEE Management Development Programme will be seen as a plus.
• At least 23 years of experience in Economic Sector Reporting, including B-BBEE, Data Analytics, or a similar role is preferred.
