WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The
Technician II will provide support and specialized technical Non Destructive Testing services to the Quality department at RDM Somerset West site in order to achieve the Business Plan.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Radiographic testing of ammunition and ammunition subsystems.
Sentencing radiographic images from company specific product specification
Ensure effective segregation of nonconforming product.
Ensure compliance to applicable company systems requirements and maintain traceability.
Ensure completion of documentation associated with projects

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with National Technical Qualification in NDT
Level II.
Additional NDT qualifications are beneficial
Exposure and understanding of ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills.
Ability to lift 25kg unassisted
Possess a high attention to detail
Ability to focus while conducting highly repetitive work
Ability to work under pressure and shift pattern.
Ability to work in a team
Selfmotivated, good communication and problem solving skills.
South African citizen
Computer literate (MS office packages).
Able to maintain a high level of quality and consistency when performing their duties
No criminal record may be vetted by Armscor
