Key responsibilities include the following
- **Drafting, Implementing and Monitoring of Divisional Budgets

  • Identify and adapt to changing Operational Situations in order to remain within budget
  • Participate in the establishment and implementation of Contingency Plans to reduce Financial Risk
  • Cost effectiveness procurement
  • Ensure higher standard of service delivery within the University in line with Services Department's Strategic Goals
  • Collaborate with Internal Customers and External Service Providers to achieving Team Work.
  • Contract Management
  • Play a role in procurement of services related to area of responsibility
  • Ensure that the SLA's are in place and adhered to Operational Plan
  • Formulate and Implement the Operational Plan to ensure High Service Delivery
  • Enforce high level of cleanliness and hygienic environment in the University campuses.
  • Formulate, Implement, Monitor and/or Review Policies/ Guidelines and Service Level Agreements (and management thereof); to ensure High Service Delivery and Compliance pertaining to your area of responsibility
  • Development of Standard Operating Procedures in your area of responsibility
  • Management of cleaning and hygiene staff in line with the University's HR Policies and Processes.
  • Set out Performance Outputs and Measurements for each direct report
  • Effective management of poor or nonperformance of staff
  • Effective management of Disciplinary Issues in line with the University's Disciplinary Code/Code of Conduct, with the help of HR/ER Office
  • Ensures continuous Training of team members especially on Cleaning technique, Covid19 cleaning methodology, Customer Service and Health and Safety
  • Promote diversity and teamwork within your area of responsibility
  • Support, facilitate and assist with the, implementation of new innovations, initiatives and service delivery

Requirements:


  • Grade 12/ NQF
  • Degree in Hospitality Management Industry / Business Management Degree

Licenses

  • Valid driver's license

Required years of related experience

  • 5 years in a diverse Cleaning and Hygiene Service Delivery at a Managerial Level
