Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the mining operation, including production, safety, and cost control
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production and maximize profitability
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement initiatives to continuously improve safety performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to effectively coordinate operations
• Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and local communities
• Monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the mining industry, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining operations
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
