    Job Title: Trip Recon Clerk

    Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trip Recon Clerk to join our dynamic Finance team in the Group Services Division. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for reconciling trucks that depart with products and return with them, ensuring accurate billing and crediting where necessary.

    Salary:

    R400,000 - R600,000 per annum

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile shipments and validate proof of delivery (POD)
    • Capture credit accurately and align with endorsements on invoices and claims
    • Communicate with customers regarding POD, claims, and other issues
    • Verify upliftment compliance and process accordingly
    • Collaborate with other departments as needed
    • Follow up on outstanding PODs
    • Escalate queries and issues encountered during reconciliation
    • Monitor and action activity reports weekly
    • Manage supplier recall functions, including passing credits, completing schedules, and processing recovery journals
    • Update unreconciled reports daily
    • Resolve customer and debtor queries

    Requirements:

    • Matric certificate (mathematics preferred)
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics/warehousing
    • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, SAP, and Portfolio
