    Software Engineer (Backend)

    Role Overview

    We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help us build out seamless cross-border payments involving both crypto and fiat currencies.

    About the Team

    Our product and engineering organisation is split into small autonomous squads empowered to own their problem space.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Collaborate with our product team to iterate fast and deliver results.
    2. Translate from technical to non-technical with stakeholders across the business.
    3. Advocate for the simplest but most effective approach in everything we do.
    4. Develop future-proof products, focusing on delivering quality code consistently and efficiently.
    5. Contribute to our engineering culture and standards to help us perform better.

    Requirements

    1. 5+ years experience working as an engineer using a compiled language.
    2. Proven ability to design, architect, debug, test, and create well-documented code.
    3. Production experience in asynchronous messaging with micro services.
    4. Understanding of common design patterns and principles, and how/when to apply them.
    5. Demonstrated ability to translate abstract challenges into clear, actionable steps and solutions.
    6. Experience in taking a product from initiation through the go to market phase, supporting products post launch.
