    About the Role

    Job Title: French Speaking Business Sales Consultant (Truck Transportation/Logistics)

    Start Date: Flexible

    Location: Midrand, Johannesburg

    Job Type: Full Time | On-site

    Salary: Market Related


    Requirements

    • Have a valid Code B driver's licence (and willing to travel by car extensively)
    • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
    • Fluent in French (able to read, write, and speak)
    • Good local and international geographical knowledge
    • Marketing background required
    • Able to conduct accurate volume measuring assessments
    • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting surveys at client/corporate premises in order to determine the volume of the move and address any other requests the client/corporate may have
    • Educate clients/corporates with accurate information regarding transportation, packing, crating, insurance, shipping, customs clearance, and destination services
    • Collaborate with Internal Sales Support
    • Maintain good relations with all parties involved in moves
    • Follow-up regularly on the status of the moves as well as clients
    • Respond to any queries timeously
    • Secure new corporate accounts and maintain existing business
    • Present factual sales presentation/solution to client/corporate
    • Prepare all tender and sales quotations for corporate sales team
    • Provide accurate quotations
    • Planning of or book moves with clients/corporates and the operations and/or shipping department
    • Complete all necessary administration and documentation to ensure a successful move
    • Assist the client/corporate with custom regulations and insurance if required
    • Follow-up regularly and keep clients/corporate informed and assured at all times
    • Make courtesy calls to clients
    • Produce weekly and monthly sales reports
