Chief Marketing Officer to join a team that provides the best, leading-edge global support services to a variety of international organisations at their offices in
Johannesburg.
This is a strategic role that brings together the various pillars of Marketing but will require someone who is also able and willing to get stuck in, contribute practically, influence action and drive performance.
This role combines the creative part of Marketing and the functional expertise of the channels with a data driven performance-based approach.

Your key
job responsibilities as the
Chief Marketing Officer in
Johannesburg will include:
- Responsible for Marketing, including:
- Performance Marketing across multiple channels including Facebook, Google, Networks & ASO
- Brand/positioning and Product Marketing
- Creative Services production of wellfitting and highperforming creatives
- Platform relations (i.e. Apple & Google)
- Community Management (including social media and influencer activity)
- Ownership of all existing customer touchpoints
- Promotional and communication strategy planning and execution
- Automation and journey structure definition
- Brand/positioning and Product Marketing
- Working closely with the Creative Studio to ensure production of wellfitting and highperforming creatives
- Work with the leadership team to agree highlevel Marketing strategy/plans and goals/targets that drive profit and complement business objectives
- Set the overall strategy for Marketing to keep being ahead of competitors in terms of functional expertise, tracking and marketing systems
- Develop/review/refine Marketing strategies for each site including product positioning, pillars, campaign roadmaps and media/channel mix with a view to increasing ROI
- Reporting of Marketing performance to the leadership team
- Guardian of corporate image
- Lead, coach, develop and support direct and indirect reports
- Manage the creative process and balance this with business needs
Chief Marketing Officer job in
Johannesburg:
- Leadership experience > 5 years
- Experience of brand strategy and marketing campaigns, including communications
- Technical understanding of tracking and reporting systems
- Analytical competencies / mindset
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills
- Growth focussed, goal oriented individual
- Able and willing to lead from the front, getting "hands on" as required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A diplomatic and professional approach, able to gather and share information in an energetic and inclusive manner, while dealing effectively with challenging situations
- A people person who enjoys managing teams and cares about their teams' welfare, as well as their output
