Energy Efficiency in Dairy Farms (1 post)
The purpose of this postdoctoral fellowship is to address electrical demand (DSM)side management and energy conservation measures in (ECM)bulk cooling systems on diary farms


THE KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE:


  • Modelling and Optimization of Bulk Milk Coolers, Heat Pump (HP) Systems and Hybrid Solar/Heat Pump systems.
  • Develop best practices in the electrical usage of the Dairy farm industry and novel sizing methodologies that is easily transferable to the
  • Assist in the design and manufacturing of a hybrid Solar HP prototype with onboard Programmable Logic Control system.

MINIMUM REQUIREMNTS:


  • Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field obtained within the last 4 years
  • Expertise in agricultural engineering and energy management will be
