Relevant Degree and 3 years experience in data analysis within an FMCG or Retail analytics environment is your key to this exciting opportunity with a successful, well-established medium sized FMCG concern.

Data Orbis | Nielsen | Aztec experience preferred.


Will suit ambitious self-starter, who is able to think out of the box, deliver insightful learnings and summarise findings into actionable solutions.

Your analysis and insights will assist with 5 year brand plan and overall planning for the business.

  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of data for total market | category, segments, competitors, channels, regions and brands.
  • Monitor trends within the category to identify performance issues and opportunities
  • Track distribution opportunities across channels | customers and regions
  • Review SKU efficiency per retailer
  • Assist in developing and monitoring pricing strategy
  • Evaluate marketing and promotions and track ROI
  • Combine different data sets (Powerplay | Iri | Shopriteonweb | Shoprite B2B | Spar Insights | PnP Portal | Price Probe

Skills and Experience:


  • Relevant Degree | Diploma


  • Data Analytics experience

  • Data Orbis | Nielsen | Aztec
  • At least 3 years experience in a FMCG, Retail analytics role
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Nielsen Answers or IRi Temple experience an advantage
  • Drivers licence and own transport
  • Must be willing to travel when required
