About the business


Founded in 2005, they are one of WA's leading providers of products, parts and services to the mining and construction industries.

They specialize in the design and fabrication of high-quality water trucks and service trucks for companies such as BHP, FMG, RIO Tinto, Alcoa, Boddington Gold, Woodside and many other well-established Australian Companies.


They are seeking a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice boilermaker to expand their small team with a view to a genuine long-term full-time position.

The successful applicant will be well supported and get to work in a clean workshop.


Qualifications & requirements

  • Australian recognised trade certificate
  • Sound experience working with FCAW, GMAW, SMAW
  • Able to read and interpret workshop and engineering drawings.
  • Able to work on their own or as part of a team
  • Bodybuilding experience is beneficial.
  • Forklift licence is an advantage.
  • Working at heights and confined space entry is an advantage.
  • Tig & stainless welding experience desired (not essential)
  • D & A screen
  • Preemployment declaration

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Fabrication and installation of service trucks.
  • Fabrication of water trucks and accessories.
  • Modification of vehicle chassis.
  • General fabrication.
  • Structural fabrication.
  • Use of modern equipment including press and guillotine.
  • Stainless and aluminium welding.
  • Onsite work whereas required.
