The position reports to the Promotions Operations Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Deals Buyer to execute a strategy that is heavily focussed on customer acquisition and promotional strategies
- Overseeing the day to day management of the programme that will include; product selection, product listing, stock management and customer fulfilment as well as all admin relating to the above mentioned duties
- Monitoring content to check for inaccuracies in product descriptions prices and photographic work and to ensure that the deals are ready in a timely manner
- Developing strong working relations with colleagues in Buying, Marketing and other relevant functions
- Identifying opportunity gaps with new products/suppliers (using competitor analysis and close reviews of market trends)
- Tracking online sales progress by analysing sales statistics, conducting online traffic studies and analysing clickthru data.
- Producing detailed sales reports on agreed metrics
- Once role has been established sourcing promotional offers from existing products and supplier base
- Managing and developing supplier relationships, negotiating good prices and ensuring service level agreements are maintained
- Following up and/or solving Customer queries on a daily basis
- Loading Deals in advance, updating the list price and subsidy the previous day as well as updating the next day to current cost
- Managing Risk Checks of Deals and Deals running in current promotions
- Managing newsletter selection which includes;
- Stock management confirming with the Marketing Dept
- Creating dynamic categories and frontsections for relevant Promotions
- Updating/linking relevant creative artwork for deals and promotions

Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Business degree (preferred) or other Tertiary qualification (required)
- Proven track record of strong results for any of the following: University projects, negotiation tactics, teamwork and other personal achievements.
- Efficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Presentation Skills
- Minimum 4 Years working experience in Retail or Wholesale environment in Sales and/or Marketing environment.
