Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct valuations for buildings every 3 years.
  • Request insurance policy renewals at least 3 months in advance.
  • Handle insurance matters when a building switches brokers, including obtaining quotes and necessary documents.
  • Submit claims promptly and provide relevant documents to the appointed broker.
  • Update fidelity policies for each building.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding excess and claim status.
  • Uphold administrative, financial, and secretarial requirements per the management agreement.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Report financial challenges and contribute to securing the client's financial wellbeing.
  • Ensure cooperation and teamwork among support departments within the group for the client's benefit.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in property management.

General Duties:


For Clients:


  • Provide solutions to client problems.
  • Keep clients informed about active claims.
  • Inform clients of applicable excess.
  • Accept responsibility for any issues affecting the client and ensure timely resolution.
  • Involve SPS Management when necessary.
  • Understand individual client needs.
  • Adhere to systems and reporting standards for clients.

Internal Responsibilities:


  • Provide necessary claim documents promptly.
  • Supply the latest Policy Schedule
  • Engage support functions and departments to fulfill client requirements.
  • Promote all offerings and products
  • Safeguard the interests of the company.

Requirements:


  • Experience in shortterm insurance administration.
  • Proficient in using systems and engaging with various departments.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to provide training when scheduled.
  • Basic to superior computer skills.
  • Knowledge of property management and community scheme insurance.

  • Maintain positive office relationships.
  • Identify and report possible shortcomings or issues.
  • Take ownership of duties with professionalism.
  • Utilize processes and systems for optimal customer service.
  • Manage client relationships effectively.
  • Achieve 24hour turnaround time on communications and deadlines.

Salary:
R15, R18,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edenvale, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
