    Job Title: Trainee Manager

    Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a skilled Trainee Manager to join our team and assist in the management of our retail operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the management of inventory, including processing goods in transit, cycle counts, and physical stock to system matches.
    • Participate in the planning and implementation of promotional stock displays in FMCG, Health and Beauty.
    • Assist in the adherence to labeling, pricing, and layout standards in FMCG, Health and Beauty.
    • Assist in the delivery of transaction integrity for incoming goods receipts and outgoing returns.
    • Assist in achieving set store sales targets, including FMCG and Health and Beauty.
    • Support management in ensuring promotions are effectively executed and propose strategies to maintain inventory levels.
    • Assist in the development of regional retail strategies to raise customer pool and expand store traffic.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 / Matric qualification
    • Minimum of 5 years retail experience post-training
    • Minimum of 2-3 years as a manager with a team of at least 8 people
    • Front-end Admin Manager experience
    • Retail/FMCG experience
    • ERP, CRM, or ordering system experience
    • KRONOS/SAP and/or related system experience

    Competencies:

    • Sound knowledge and understanding of retail store management disciplines
    • Ability to analyze and make informed decisions
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Emotional intelligence and conflict management skills
