Job Profile:

Two Oceans Marine has identified the need to implement an ERP/MRP system in line with the growth currently experienced.

To achieve this, a role has been identified for a person to assist with the implementation of the system and then to take on the role of a Buyer once the system has been implemented.

Duties would include.

Place orders as per the Bill of Materials
Ad hoc purchasing
Updating and maintaining the Bill of Materials
Following up with Suppliers on deliveries and supply issues
Management of Outstanding Orders daily.
Maintain the MRP system to ensure accuracy of information.
Feedback to management on issues affecting supply.
Resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoicing issues with Suppliers.
Ensure correct Job allocations and report costing information to management.
Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
Train and assist various users on the system.

Required Experience

Experience in using ERP/MRP software such as Syspro, SAP or similar.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Purchasing team preferably within a manufacturing environment, local and international.
Experience in the yachting industry would be advantageous.
Previous experience in the implementation of an ERP/MRP system would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Matric
A post matric qualification in Purchasing would be advantageous.

Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities.

Computer literate with advance Excel skills/abilities
