    Description

    Job Title: Data Scientist

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team at Talenco Recruitment Specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, AI, and data analysis, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Data Analysis and Modeling:
      Develop and deploy machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract insights, predict outcomes, and optimize processes.
      Perform data analysis, exploration, and preprocessing to extract valuable information from large datasets.
      Evaluate model performance and fine-tune models for improved accuracy.
    2. Data Strategy and Planning:
      Define data-driven objectives and formulate strategies aligned with business goals.
      Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish data collection and measurement protocols.
      Engineer features and create data pipelines to prepare and clean data for modeling.
    3. Model Evaluation and Deployment:
      Deploy models and monitor their ongoing performance.
      Implement best practices for model version control and management.
      Integrate proven models into business processes and software products.
    4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
      Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Domain Experts to understand and address specific business problems.
      Communicate findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner.
    5. Leadership and Mentorship:
      Lead and mentor Junior Data Scientists.
      Participate in knowledge-sharing and training programs that enhance the data science capabilities of the team.

    Requirements:

    • Computer Science or Data Science degree or equivalent qualification.
    • Certified Data Scientist or other relevant certification.
    • Hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
    • Strong understanding of data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation concepts.
    • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
