Prospen Africa is a youthful company in training and skills development industry.

We are looking for a Junior IT & Digital Marketing Coordinator to be responsible for IT support, Website maintenance, and Digital Marketing.


Responsibilities:


IT Support

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Troubleshooting and fixing on site laptops as well as being able to support remote users with IT related issues.
  • Monitoring and maintaining laptop systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setups of accounts for new users and configuration of laptops/devices/printers etc.
  • Assist with ensuring that laptops are functioning and Wifi network is stable in cases of loadshedding.
  • Liaise with all company personnel regarding IT issues.

Website Maintenance

  • Be responsible for maintaining and expanding our website.
  • Responding to and troubleshooting all website issues.
  • Identifying and responding to all website security breaches.
  • Ensuring that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
  • Updating HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
  • Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Improving the user experience of the website regularly.
  • Collaborating with all staff and management to ensure that the website content aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization's standards.

Digital Marketing

  • Uses a variety of digital channels to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate endtoend customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Requirements:


  • Diploma or Degree in IT or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in IT and/or Web Development role.
  • A solid understanding of Web maintenance, IT and Digital Marketing.
  • Knowledge of WordPress.
  • Familiar with PHP files and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
  • Creative problemsolving skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
