    Contract Administrator/Specialist

    A dynamic contract administrator with experience in the mining industry is required to oversee and review the formulation and finalization of contracts in collaboration with management and legal staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and assist with contract meetings.
    • Oversee activities related to contracts for equipment, materials, products, or services.
    • Assist with claim evaluations and assessments.
    • Analyze performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimated costs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Prepare memorandums, letters, and site instructions with support from Contract Managers/Project Managers.
    • Monitor progress on all areas relevant to the contract.
    • Update and track claims, letters, quotes, notification registers, and contract modifications.
    • Provide guidance and assistance to contractors as needed.
    • Support Supply Chain, Contract, and Project Manager when necessary.
    • Maintain an audit file for each contract, including approved items per contract file index.
    • Perform closing activities for the contract as required.
    • Communicate contract status information to relevant resources.
    • Analyze and mitigate risk in conjunction with relevant managers.
    • Ensure adherence to established processes.

    Requirements

    • 3-5 Years' experience as a Contract Administrator/Specialist or Contract Manager in mining/construction industries.
    • Experience working with clients, contractors, and consultants.
    • Knowledge of GCC, NEC, and/or FIDIC contractual frameworks.
    • Possession of reliable transportation and willingness to travel if necessary.
    • Strong discipline, high standards, and a solid work ethic.
