    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at {company}. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required safety, health, environmental, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including site visits, meetings with stakeholders, and communication with team members.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
    • Professional registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).

    Desirable Qualifications

    • At least 4 years of experience in construction project management.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on safety, health, environmental, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) requirements.

    Additional Requirements

    • Laptop, 3G, Wi-fi, Mobile, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and a suitable vehicle for site visits.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Project.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
