    Senior Healthcare Assistant Role at The Alexandra Hospital

    We are seeking a skilled Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Pre Assessment department at The Alexandra Hospital, part of Circle Health Group.

    This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours per week, with flexible shifts.

    About the Role

    As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with the nursing and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Providing a high standard of care in accordance with CHG policies and procedures.
    • Working within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care and maintain customer service standards.
    • Demonstrating competence in the role of Healthcare Assistant within your working areas.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • A Care Certificate.
    • Phlebotomy skills and ECG recording experience.
    • Previous experience in a Healthcare Assistant role, preferably in a pre-assessment environment.
    • NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent qualifications.
    • Maths and English GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
    • Proficient PC skills, including software and systems usage.
