Requirements of the role:

Our client based in Johannesburg is seeking a FinTech Sales Representative to join their excellent sales Team

An extremely talented teacher with precisely 45 years experience (your school will be very sad to see you go),
Or a FinTech sales professional with experience in selling to schools
Commercial nous
Remote selling experience a distinct advantage
Love of data
Previous experience with CRM systems an advantage
Strong computer literacy skills
User of Karri (preferable), Snapscan, Zapper, banking apps
Ability to organise and manage one's own time and meetings strategically and effectively.
Confident but not arrogant
High achiever, Atype personality with strong attention to detail

Realities of the Role

Working in a remote sales role and with education partners, some days might feel monotonous while others will be very high energy
The process of getting schools to take on a new system can be a challenging but a hugely rewarding process

Buy-in has to come from multiple stakeholders. Oftentimes, you will need to be managing multiple schools in various stages of the sales pipeline and their growth

As a sales agent, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's growth during this pivotal time.

Resilience; you aren't beaten down when faced with rejection or challenge.
Attention to detail and a strong foundation of the basics. E.g. Your meetings are scheduled and executed strategically, your CRM is updated, and travel time is planned to support your weekly/monthly priorities
A consultative sales and customer service mindset; you have a strong desire to draw out feedback from our clients and can present creative ways of solving problems our schools face
