- To perform a Full Accounting and Reporting Function including but not limited to:
- SAP systems management and control for Finance and ML Controlling.
- Internal business reporting and controlling on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Financial control over inventory and assets with monthly assessments.
- Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Portfolio Management of internal and external audits, insurance and income tax.
- Budgeting process for the entity.
- Management reporting for the Zambia Entity - Posting bank transactions and Monthly Bank Reconciliations in USD and ZMW, updating the Fixed Assets register, Petty Cash reconciliation, and loading Creditor Payments.
- Verifying postings are correct and valid.
- Manufacturing orders assessment on a monthly basis.
- Stock Movement and Obsolete Stock Management ensuring all movements are signed off.
- Driving working capital ratios - cash, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and stock.
- Reconciling assets on a quarterly basis to the Asset Register in SAP and reporting any findings and managing impairments.
- Administering and managing the stock system, as well as the Stock Count process on an annual basis. Completing a monthly valuation, reach calculation (obsolete stock), analysis and reporting on any differences.
- Assisting with the management of the full year-end internal and external audit function, reporting any non-conformances to Management and implementing actions for improvements to systems, processes and procedures.
- Reviewing and managing actuals to budget and implementing actions for cost reduction for the entity.
- Assisting with VAT, Income Tax and Companies Act rules and implementation.
- BCOM degree completed.
- 4-10 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, which is essential.
- Experience with internal software: SAP, Hyperion.
- High understanding and control of Business Reporting requirements.
- Ability to analyze problems and apply logical reasoning.
- Capacity to structure complex information based on relevance and draw conclusions.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work in an international environment and matrix organization.
