    HR Officer - Maternity Cover

    A maternity cover HR Officer is required to support the Human Resources Department.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Onboard and orientate employees ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Manage performance, employee relations, and engagement through conflict resolution, open communication, and team-building initiatives.
    • Order and distribute uniforms for employees while maintaining accurate stock records.
    • Support administrative tasks such as employee birthday cards, long service milestone letters, and filing.
    • Maintain employee notice boards with up-to-date information.
    • Report on health and safety matters monthly.
    • Investigate staff transport queries and provide feedback to employees.
    • Assist with daily HR-related queries from employees.
    • Share employee concerns with the HR department in a timely manner.
    • Process injury on duty claims correctly.
    • Develop and implement employee welfare initiatives.
    • Support industrial relations processes for housekeeping and other departments as directed by the HR Manager.

    Requirements:

    • Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
    • Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and payroll processes.
    • Experience in onboarding, recruitment, and employee benefits.
