    Description

    RPO Recruitment, a reputable recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer for our client in Cape Town. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for providing professional consulting services in various civil engineering disciplines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting site evaluations and analyzing site data to determine feasibility of proposed projects
    • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
    • Collaborating with clients, architects, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs
    • Managing projects from conception to completion, including overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulations
    • Performing project cost estimates and evaluating the economic and environmental impact of projects
    • Ensuring that projects adhere to safety standards and legal regulations
    • Using various software applications and computer-aided design (CAD) programs for designing and modeling projects

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
    • Professional Engineering (PE) license
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering consulting
    • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design standards
    • Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering software applications
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
