Finance Director Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Experience in Manufacturing sector
(nonnegotiable):
Member of a recognized professional accounting body in good standing
(non-negotiable):
Oversee HR function
(nonnegotiable):
10+ years experience in a senior finance position

Finance Director Duties and Responsibilities

Direct and monitor all financial activities of the organization
Manage company cash flow
Outline and implement companywide budget plans
Prepare monthly management accounts and annual company financial statements.
Oversee all accounting work and set up internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy of information.
Work with and advise the management team on solid financial decisionmaking to increase profits and minimize losses
Provide strategic financial planning advice to upper management for longterm growth
Establish internal work processes for the financial department
Maintain and manage client relationships
Analyze and interpret financial data and provide insightful monthly financial reports to the senior executives and HQ in Germany including variance analysis.
Stay abreast of current market trends and patterns and act accordingly
Asses company spending and work to reduce costs
Manage the finance department, training any new employees as necessary
Ensure Human Resources salary and wage statutory compliance.
Have a clear understanding of and adhere to current laws and regulations
Assessing, managing and minimizing risk
Attend to any tax requirements to ensure tax compliance
Reporting to Managing Director
