- Create and modify artwork files for point-of-sale materials using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Apply typography and layout skills to arrange text, images, and graphics in a visually appealing and readable manner for various point-of-sale materials.
- Ensure accurate color reproduction by properly managing and adjusting color profiles, converting color modes, and conducting color proofing as necessary.
- Retail touch, crop, and resize images to meet specific print requirements while maintaining image quality and consistency.
- Prepare artwork files for print production by setting up proper bleeds, trim marks, and print-ready specifications, ensuring optimal print quality.
- Review and proof artwork files and final prints to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client requirements and brand standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather project specifications, provide updates, and address any artwork-related issues.
- Maintain an organized file structure, follow version control protocols, and appropriately archive completed projects and associated assets.
- Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the artwork preparation and print production process.
- Proven experience as a DTP Operator or similar role, preferably in a print production or advertising agency environment.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant DTP tools.
- Strong understanding of print production processes, color management, prepress procedures, and file formats required for high-quality print output.
- Meticulous eye for detail, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality control.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to artwork preparation and print production.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating and preparing artwork files for print, showcasing a range of point-of-sale materials, typography, and layout skills.
