Junior Mechanic

We are a car rental company based in Johannesburg looking for a Junior Mechanic to work in our offices based in Halfway House, Midrand.

We offer long-term rental solutions to our clients (Corporate & Individuals). We are looking for a junior mechanic who has hands on experience of maintaining small vehicles.

Responsibilities

Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Ensure the conform to all maintenance and service procedures.
Have junior workshop experience.
Be able to do basic maintenance on vehicles.
Basic understanding of mechanics and panel beating.
Manage, control, follow up, and resolve all parts and inventory customer requests and complaints.
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. replacing tall light bulb)
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
