    Job Title

    Create and design commercial visual concepts, imagery and brand-related trims that align with our customer and taste level.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research and analysis of graphic and print trends to present to the Buying and Design teams.
    • Understand graphic trend shifts for the upcoming season and translate these insights into commercial proposals suitable for us.
    • Conduct store visits and competitor analysis to understand our customers.

    Design Creation in line with Critical Path:

    • Create sketches and drawings of new designs, developing placement prints and all-over prints aligned with Buying and Design.
    • Understand print direction, fabrication, manufacturing and print terminology to ensure the creation of viable products.
    • Manage all creative requests assigned timeously aligned to our critical path.
    • Ensure consistency of designs in line with brand guidelines.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate across departments for seasonal campaigns.

    Key Competencies:

    • Relevant business diploma or degree.
    • 3-5 years of Graphic Experience in Men's and Boys', Ladieswear, Kidswear, Lingerie graphics design.
    • Experience with licensed brands is advantageous.

    Technical & Functional Competencies:

    • Advanced skills in Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and other relevant packages).
    • Solid understanding of layout, typography, color therapy and branding principles.
    • Competency in designing for digital and print media.
    • Knowledge of print production processes and specifications.
    • Ability to conduct thorough trend research globally and locally.
    • Good communication skills to accurately convey concepts.

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Generate new ideas for designs that enhance customer experience and sales.
    • Attention to detail to ensure all design elements are harmonious.
    • Time management skills to manage multiple timelines and projects without compromising quality.
    • Adaptability to feedback, changing priorities and emerging design trends.
    • Teamwork and collaboration skills to work closely with buying and technical product development.
    • Persuasiveness to positively influence Buyers and stakeholders' decision making.
