About the Position
Urgently looking for an

Operational Specialist:

Learning Design & Development who will be responsible to provide expertise, advice, and support by designing, developing curriculum and facilitating training on Debt Management courses/topics in order to ensure that the training needs identified during the skills development strategies/process are addressed.

Job Purpose


To provide expertise, advice, and support to develop operational implementation plans and/or associated service delivery processes, by designing, developing and facilitating Debt Management curriculum, and learning programmes so that the training needs identified in the skills development strategies can be met, in order to continuously enhance service delivery.


Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Relevant Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) and 5-7 years experience in a learning design and development environment (Debt Management environment) of which 2-3 years is at a functional specialist level

OR

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years experience within a Learning Design & Development environment (Debt Management environment), of which 2-3 years are at a functional specialist level


Job Outputs:


Process

  • Design, Develop and Facilitate Debt Management learning materials
  • Conduct Train the Trainer sessions on Debt Management training topics
  • Deliver training on Debt Management courses
  • Conduct research to investigate areas of concern in order to resolve problems and identify new solutions
  • Determine, develop, organise, execute and evaluate training to address identified needs
  • Design and develop the learning programme/s so that the learning outcomes will be achieved within the selected learning methodology
  • Ensure that the learning programme includes effective evaluation techniques and subscribes to the principles of adult learning
  • Brief the trainer/s or facilitators on the learning programmes of a formal training course, so that they understand the delivery requirements
  • Attend the initial training course to assess the learning programme and make amendments as required and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning programme and its impact on the business
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers, role players and third parties to achieve predefined objectives
  • Execute specialist input through investigation & opportunities within the production process including risk concern
  • Provide specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process product and risk optimisation
  • Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities
  • Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in the area of specialisation trends and potential risks
  • Draw on your own knowledge and experience to diagnose symptoms, causes and possible effects in order to solve emerging problems
  • Initiate process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a result of the change
  • Plan for valueadded process improvements, initiatives, and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.

  • Ensure that completed work adheres to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations & discrepancies
  • Implement and provide input into the development of governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics processes within the area of specialisation.

  • Search for, integrate and share new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities in the execution of your job.
