Description
High end Lodge in the Pilanesberg National Park is looking for a General Manager.


Responsible for:

  • Manage all aspects of the Lodge
  • Manage the maintenance, look, aesthetics and functionality of Lodge assets
  • Maintain and ensure the good will of the brand at property level.
  • Ensure developed set of the standards are upheld and maintained.
  • Ensure management personnel of the Lodge is up to the highest standards
  • Ensure the management structure is streamlined and effective and in line with hospitality trends.
  • Setup, attend & direct daily and monthly HOD & team meetings

Requirements:


  • Matric / Grade 1
  • Hospitality / Tourism / Business management related tertiary qualification.
  • NQF 6 Level or Similar
  • Business related qualification would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar position / experience
  • Previous 5* Game Lodge Experience
  • Extensive background in all areas of management
  • Special emphasis in finance, human resources
  • Food & Beverage and Rooms Division Management
  • Passion for the Bush
  • Passion for Food
  • Proven track record in the efficient and effective management of operations
