- Grade 12 with NQF Level 4 and relevant trade test essential
- 3+ years' experience (operational execution) maintenance in FMCG, as well as bottling equipment
- MS Office and Email literate
- Previous FMCG / bottling industry experience ESSENTIAL
- Mechanical Maintenance – mechanical breakdown repairs; assess & replace components; preventative maintenance; cooling – keep performance log; municipal water supply filtration monitoring as well as water pumps & valve maintenance; monitoring performance of compressed air supply; assist with daily start up and shut down of essential production machinery; size changes on production lines; implement/oversee preventative maintenance programme; emergency breakdown repairs; control maintenance store and company tools
- Electrical maintenance – test/modify operational electrical machinery / equipment / circuitry; assemble/test devices; diagnose malfunctions & failures; develop wiring diagrams; general plant & system maintenance
- Operational support – problem solving; guidance/advice to teams; knowledge transfer; planned maintenance
- SHE standards – adhere to SHE policies and procedures; ensure high hygiene levels are maintained; implement first aid policy; attend training and enforce learnings
