Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record in effectively leading highperforming teams.
  • Demonstrates an enthusiastic approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Proficient in fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Displays selfdiscipline and a proactive work ethic.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa and across Africa.
  • Develop and execute robust sales strategies aimed at fostering sales growth, implementing price adjustments, and ensuring effective cost management.
  • Lead a divisional sales team to meet and surpass sales targets, while maintaining cost efficiency and adherence to company protocols.
  • Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with key customers.
  • Engage in negotiations and finalize agreements with customers.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics, taking corrective measures for areas of underperformance.
  • Prepare sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Conduct market research to identify prospective customers and explore emerging market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to manage receivables and resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in technology and new product offerings to provide informed guidance to the sales team.
  • Spearhead efforts in developing new sales channels.
  • Exercise responsibility for margin control by optimizing product mix and pricing strategies.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Science related field.
  • At least 15 years water treatment experience of which 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Exhibits thoroughness, accuracy, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent computer literacy.
