Description

Well established institution is looking for a service-orientated, presentable and professional person to manage retail shop.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- be responsible for the overall management of the shop, including two shop assistants and temporary staff during peak periods;
- submit invoices for payment to suppliers, manage daily cash ups and reconciliations, submit a monthly sales analysis and comparisons, analyse sales data to predict future orders;
- do budget forecasts, cost calculations and mark-up analysis;
- supply customer accounts data to the Finance Department;
- build and maintain exceptional business relationships with all stakeholders, including students, parents, staff and suppliers and ensure that excellent customer service is offered;
- manage customer queries, quotes, bulk returns, refunds and complaints;
- be responsible for the profitability of the Shop;
- purchase, manage and control stock levels based on stock demand predictions;
- ensure that stock items are maintained on the order system (Pastel Evolution) including barcodes;
- ensure stock takes are done accurately and ensure that any necessary measures are maintained to prevent losses;
- liaise with internal stakeholders around stock purchases and sourcing of stock items including books;
- oversee termly and annual external audits.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT:

810 years' retails experience at managerial level;

- excellent computer skills including POS systems;
- exceptional communications, managerial, administrative and inter-personal skills;
- own reliable transport is essential.
