Solution Architect (Cloud)

Fortinet is on the lookout for a Cloud Solution Architect tasked with leading our technical practice and shaping the overarching technical vision to address our customers' business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Build Strategy:Develop strategic responses to market threats, share competitive insights within the community, and work with product and engineering teams to refine offerings based on market trends.

What we are looking for:

Experience in startups, hyperscalers, or the hightech industry.
Proven ability to build deep technical relationships with senior executives, business owners, and decisionmakers.
Familiarity with opensource ecosystems, contemporary cloud technologies (like Kubernetes, Terraform, serverless architectures, microservices) and cloud security practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field plus 8 years of experience in technology solutions, architecture, consulting, or cloud technologies;
At least 6 years of Extensive experience with cloud and cloudnative architectures (including public, hybrid, and multicloud environments), architecture designs, migrations, industry standards (such as NIST), and technology management.
Handson experience in tailoring solutions on major Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience with Private Cloud solutions such as Vmware NSX, Openstack, Openshift etc. technologies.
6+ years of customerfacing experience in technical presales, consulting, or technology delivery.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Professional) or equivalent Certification is preferred.
