    Description

    RedCat Recruitment seeks a trade-tested Millwright for a manufacturing concern in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

    **Job Summary:** Experienced Millwright required for a large manufacturing concern in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Normal and preventative maintenance of hydraulic systems (presses, formers, pultrusion and injection moulding)
    • Normal and preventative maintenance of electrical systems (distribution panels, control panels, heating and cooling systems and electrical circuitry)
    • Normal and preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment (gearboxes, pumps, chain drives, couplings and alignment)
    • Fault finding and breakdown/emergency repairs (electrical and mechanical)
    • Basic welding and boilermaking experience
    • Technical assistance to production and maintenance teams
    • Be part of continuous improvement
    • Implement planned maintenance and counter measures
    • Assistance with machine changeover and start-ups when required

    **Requirements:**

    • Grade 12
    • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
    • Trade-tested Millwright
    • Competent computer skills (Email / MS Office)
    • 5+ years of previous working experience as a qualified Millwright
    • PLC and VSD experience advantageous
    • Induction furnace experience advantageous
