    Dynamic sales professional sought to drive growth in the manufacturing sector.

    Our client is a leading company in the industry, seeking a young and ambitious individual to join their team as an External Sales Representative.

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be target-driven, and have a strong ability to work well under pressure.

    Duties:

    • Manage and grow existing customer relationships by identifying value-added applications and opportunities.
    • Align industry trends in the manufacturing sector with company successes.
    • Acquire new customers through consistent efforts to drive company growth.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, retention, and support, including quotations, meeting client needs, and responding to inquiries.
    • Take ownership of meeting customer requirements, grow market share, and develop profitable sales.
    • Implement sales processes, including research, lead generation, and moving customers through the sales pipeline.
    • Set up constructive appointments for value-based discussions and populate the pipeline platform.
    • Develop and implement reporting and monitoring mechanisms to track competitor activities and market movements.
    • Analyze market potentials, track sales and status reports, and meet and exceed sales budgets.
    • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and comply with company planning and reporting structures.
    • Assist with quarterly stock stake and new business acquisition, and be responsible for a group of assigned key customers.
    • Increase product sales at existing customers and develop sales by analyzing and controlling opportunities within the assigned market sector.
    • Achieve set financial targets, including sales turnover, margins, product volumes, and expenses.
    • Track and report sales status and forecasts, and assist with developing and implementing product promotions and go-to-market strategies.
    • Address customer issues and solve complaints, and provide sales reports to management.

    Requirements:

    • Must have a reliable vehicle, cellphone, and laptop.
    • 3 years' experience in the manufacturing sector is an added advantage.
    • Excellent English skills, written and spoken, with Zulu language an added advantage.
    • Strong leadership and administrative skills, good time management, and Microsoft Office skills.
    • Presentation skills and engagement on electronic platforms, high level of motivation, and continuous improvement mentality.
