    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage our company's daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of transactions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage intercompany accounts, reconciliations, and journals to resolve differences in transactions between sites and arrange for payment of intercompany creditors' accounts.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly VAT submissions, schedules, and queries, including analyzing incorrect VAT inputs, VAT not claimed, and zero-rated sales.
    • Produce monthly management accounts and supporting schedules, as well as prepare variance analysis for budget vs. actual expenditure.
    • Assist with the completion of quarterly and annual statutory reports, and prepare the budget, financial forecasts, and reporting of variance.
    • Perform various cost center reporting, analysis, and cost management tasks, checking and enforcing adherence to financial policies.
    • Review and analyze tax packs, audit packs, and reconciliations, including revaluations and INFOR integration mapping and setup.

    Requirements:

    • BCom/BCom Honours in Accounting/Finance.
    • Minimum 4-10 years experience in a related field.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel.
    • Practical hands-on accounting knowledge.
    • Knowledge of INFOR and Finnivo an advantage.
    • Excellent VAT knowledge essential.
    • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy vital.

    Salary: +$80,000 per annum.
